You are AMAZING. That is why I love you.

I know you won't believe me if I say this: Mr DELL has risen from the dead.

After 2 days of being in a coma, I decided to pull the wires off Mr DELL and let him rest in peace. But somehow, at the back of my head, I believed so much that he is still alive. We have been inseparable, therefore, why should we be apart now?

On the evening of the pseudo demise of Mr DELL, I gave him one last kiss. Now I truly believe that "the kiss of life" do exist. Mr DELL jumped back to life and stayed on with me until today.

Although, like most of my patients who suffered a stroke, Mr DELL is working with a slurred speech.

But who is complaining, eh?

Treeman VS Cauliflowerman

I am sure many of you heard and have seen somewhere on the WWW of the Treeman in Indonesia. He live most of his live growing root-like warts all over his body, hands, feet and face. His wife left him and he was working in a freak show exhibition just to put food on the table and to support himself and his children.


When I first learned of Dede, I was fascinated by the story and I wanted to know more. I even have a dream of meeting him personally and touching those root-like projections and wonder how did all this happened. It is really amazing how the normal human tissues can transform into dry roots. Just amazing. You can read more about Dede here

Recently, on the day of my on call, which was last Tuesday, I decided to work in the emergency department for a few hours, just to pass time while the hospital doors are open for family and friends to visit the patients. I can be doing my work in the wards as the patients will be swarmed by dotting visitors.

As I was busy running from a catheter insertion to attending to an accident victim, I found myself walking towards the procedure room hoping to get some suturing done on some patients. I saw that the curtains were drawn and I was really hoping to jump into a suturing procedure. But what welcomed me behind those curtains were more than I had expected.

As I entered, the student nurses were cleaning a stump on a 50 years old man. I thought it was just one of those poorly-cared diabetic stump. But when I took a good look at it, it was actually a growth on the man's congenitally defected foot. He was born without a foot and in the pass 4-6 months, a cauliflower-like growth has taken place of the stump.


The man came in because he accidentally hit his stump on the floor and it bleed massively. I told the student nurses to let me guide them in cleaning the stump and growth as the creases between the growth was already smelling really fowl. I usually work without my mask on, no matter how fowl the case is. But this time round, I had to put a mask on.

I talked to the patient casually, creating a rapport between me and him, and also creating a trust. I want him to know that we want to help the best we can so that he can rid himself of the growth that is actively growing. To consider the time that it has taken to grow, it could mean that the growth is of a malignant origin.

The man could loose the entire of his left leg because most of his superficial vessels are non-viable.

I am so happy to be the first persons to see this Cauliflowerman in Malaysia. So I guess it really pays to be a little proactive in doing what I love, surgery and acute and emergecy.

Who would have known?


I have known her since 13 years ago. We were friends and known as the back benchers of the class. Not because we were lazy, but simply because we are to tall to be anywhere near the front seats. We joked, we became close, and somehow a bond of more than just friends developed between us. We became the Ronggengs.... a band of sisters, different in so many ways yet so close together.

Last Friday I got a call from my aunt. She was just talking about nothing and I was just hanging on the phone with her. The conversation did not strike my attention until she mentioned that my friend was with her. Initially, I had someone else in mind as I already knew that this other 'friend' turned out to be my far relation.

And she mentioned "Olin".

I was wondering why in God's name is Rozel hanging out with my aunt. After much talk and gossiping, I was told that actually, Rozel and I are somewhat related. The furthest of relations maybe, I am not too sure. But, we are related. I was like WHOA!

After 13 years of friendship, we never knew that we are related and now that we know, I think it is just awesome!

Fatine Young




LONDON - Seorang lelaki Britain, Ian Young menyunting seorang mak nyah warga Malaysia yang dikenali sebagai Fatine untuk menjadi 'isterinya', lapor sebuah akhbar semalam.
Ian, 30, yang memiliki sebuah syarikat penyelenggaraan hartanah berkahwin dengan Fatine, 36, dalam satu majlis sivil di sini Mei lepas.
Dia berkenalan dengan Fatine di sebuah kafe Starbucks di Menara Berkembar Petronas, Kuala Lumpur pada Ogos 2006 ketika dia bekerja sebagai pegawai keselamatan di Malaysia.
Terpegun dengan kejelitaan mak nyah tersebut, Ian yang pada mulanya menyangka Fatine seorang wanita, cuba memikatnya.
Lelaki itu berkata, keserasian antara mereka menimbulkan bibit cinta dan dia berasa bertuah dapat bertemu dengan kekasih yang mengambil berat dan pandai menjaga hatinya.
"Saya tidak peduli sama ada dia seorang mak nyah. Saya mencintai keperibadiannya. Bagi saya Fatine seorang wanita yang cantik dan menawan," kata Ian yang sebelum ini mempunyai seorang teman wanita berbangsa Inggeris.
Fatine atau nama sebenarnya Mohammed Fazdil Min Bahari mengambil hormon wanita sejak berusia 17 tahun.
Jurusolek itu tidak mahu melakukan pembedahan penukaran jantina kerana takut pada risiko di samping gembira dengan keadaan dirinya yang sedia ada.

WHEN Ian Young sat down next to a beautiful woman in a packed cafe in Kuala Lumpur, he had no idea they would one day be married.

Nor did he know that his pretty companion was a man.

In just three years, Ian has gone from being a straight lad from Derby - who was with his previous girlfriend for eight years - to being in a full-time same-sex relationship.

Ian married 36-year-old Fatine, who is a pre-op transsexual, in a British civil partnership ceremony in May.

But now Fatine faces deportation back to Malaysia, where homosexuality is ILLEGAL.

Ian, 30, who owns his own property maintenance company, says: "I know it is hard for people to understand but I love Fatine. I feel lucky to have met such a caring, wonderful person.

"It doesn't matter to me that she is a transsexual - it's the person she is inside that I care about and love.

"I can't contemplate the idea of us not being together. I look at her and see a beautiful woman."

Ian met Fatine in a Starbucks cafe in the Malaysian capital's famous Petronas Towers in August 2006. He was working as a security officer in the country at the time.

He says: "I asked if I could nick the seat next to her. When she looked up and said, 'Yes' I was overwhelmed by her striking eyes and exotic features.

"We started talking and I was immediately impressed by how good her English was. When she got up to leave I asked for her number.


"That's when she said she might not be what I was looking for and that she was actually a transsexual. I just said, 'Oh' and blushed with embarrassment. But for some reason I wasn't put off.

"I'd never met a transsexual before and my instinct was that I liked Fatine. Even if it was just as friends, I wanted to meet her again."

Two days later Ian and Fatine, who was born Mohammed Fazdil Bin Min Bahari, met at a bar - and kissed at the end of the night.

Ian says: "It just felt right. My first impression in the coffee shop was that Fatine was a woman.

"If she happened to have male sex organs then that was some sort of birth defect. I never thought of her as a man."

The couple met twice more and agreed the feelings they had were more than just friendship.

Ian says: "I was planning to go back to the UK but Fatine was such a warm, gentle person she drew me in.

"I was treated like a meal ticket by other Malaysian girls. But Fatine was different - a successful make-up artist and independent woman."

But the fledgling relationship was not without its problems.

Ian says: "Being a straight man I did have a few concerns about the way I was feeling.

"I wondered if it meant I was gay and I was scared what had happened wasn't right, but I couldn't ignore how I felt."

Fatine, who has taken female hormones since the age of 17, does not want gender reassignment surgery because of the risks involved and because she is happy with her body as it is.

She was also nervous about starting a relationship in a country where transsexuals are often sacked or arrested.

Ian says: "She was disowned by her mother and had encountered a lot of prejudice.

"I began to understand that Fatine and her friends were not a freak show but ordinary people like you or me who just happened to have been born into the wrong body."

When Ian's contract finished five months later he returned to Derby, but he and Fatine realised they both felt strongly about each other. Ian arranged to return to Kuala Lumpur to work, but not before telling all to his mum Patricia.

He recalls: "Mum was fantastic. Having her support was a huge weight off my shoulders."

On his second visit, in October 2007, Ian and Fatine felt ready for a physical relationship.

Ian says: "I was scared about what would happen if sex didn't work. I needn't have worried and it only helped bring us closer. If you love someone, you accept their body no matter how it is."

In December 2008 Ian arranged for Fatine to travel to the UK on a visitor's visa. However, a holiday soon became a long-term stay.

Ian says: "The realisation we could walk down the street together and be happy made it hard to contemplate ever going back to Malaysia.

"I started feeling incredibly proud to have Fatine on my arm."

A month into Fatine's visit Ian proposed and they applied to the Home Office for a Certificate of Approval to Marry. This allowed them to proceed with a civil partnership, which they hoped would support Fatine in getting a permanent visa.

Ian says of the ceremony: "My friends and family turned out to Derby Register Office and their presence was a huge boost.

"Everyone was so supportive. Mum said, 'I've got a son and a daughter now'. For Fatine it was strange to be surrounded by people who were so accepting of her and our relationship.

"Fatine wore a beautiful red silk dress and looked utterly stunning."

Ian has been pleasantly surprised by people's acceptance. He says: "There is always a moment of shock on their face when they find out Fatine isn't a woman. Seconds later they accept it, then ask if I'm gay. But, as strange as it sounds, I'd never say I fancy men."

Despite their dedication to each other, the couple's plans to stay in the UK are now in turmoil after Fatine's Leave To Remain Visa was refused in September on the grounds of an incorrect passport photo.

Their second application was rejected because it was received after Fatine's visitor's visa expired. She has now been told to return to Malaysia.

Ian says: "I simply don't accept the reasons we have been given for each refusal of the application.

"Our local MP has even got in touch with the Home Office but they won't budge. They say Fatine has to return to Malaysia, which is something we wouldn't be able to do as a couple.

"Over there we would face imprisonment just for living together.

"We want to do simple things like have a mortgage. We feel desperate, our options are quickly running out.

"Fatine can reapply from Malaysia but who knows how long that would take, or if it would even be accepted.

"We might be different from your average couple but we love each other - and being forced apart is our worst nightmare."

Head of Immigration for the UK Border Agency, Matthew Coats, said: "This applicant entered the UK as a visitor. The rules are clear that a visitor must leave the UK within six months but may reapply for a new visa from their country of origin."

jika anda berumur 18 tahun ke bawah, sila jangan baca.

"sayang, mengiring la ke kiri. sayang relax aja ye" bisik aku manja kepadanya. dia tidak langsung melawan permintaan ku. hanya mampu angguk dan merelakan dirinya untuk ku. dia mengalihkan pandangannya dari ku dan terus membelakangkan aku, just exactly the way i told him to. nafasnya tenang.

aku melonggarkan kain pelikat yang dipakainya, sambil2 memerhati raut wajahnya yang tenang. aku senyum manja dan meneruskan misi aku. perlahan... lahan.... dengan penuh lemah gemalai, aku menyelak kain pelikatnya ke bawah. dia masih lagi membelakang kan aku.

aku menyentuh kulitnya. ahhh... sangat warm. sangat selesa untuk hari yang sejuk seperti hari ini. hati ku rakus ingin terus memasuki tubuhnya. tetapi aku dihalang oleh suara yang memberitahu aku akan cara2 yang sebenar untuk memuaskan nafsu ku ini. aku tersentak. aku mengikut bisikan suara itu. aku tidak lagi gelojoh, aku bergerak perlahan...

setelah melihat pembukaan kulit yang suam2 kuku itu, aku membasahkan diri aku. aku memasuki tubuhnya. sedikit demi sedikit. aku tahu, mungkin dia tak biasa. aku tidak mahu memaksanya. aku tidak mahu dia membenci aku. makin aku masuk, makin ketat, makin aku masuk, makin ketat. dia mengerang. aku tidak pasti samada itu adalah tanda sakit atau tanda gembira. aku cuma ingin meneruskan misi aku.

owh sungguh panas.... sungguh lembut.... sungguh basah di dalam tubuhnya.

kurang dari 2 minit, diriku sudah selesai. aku mengucapkan terima kasih padanya kerana memberi aku peluang itu.

p/s: today, aku telah buat pertama kalinya memasukkan jari aku dalam bontot orang untuk per rectal examination bagi abdominal patient. lepas ni saper salam tangan doctor, sila ingat, mesti ada sekali yang jari dia masuk dalam bontot orang ye.

kenapa kita addicted to mamak food


tengok gambar ni, terliur tak? rasa macam nak drive pergi mamak sekarang tak? atau maybe rasa nak lepak mamak malam2 karang? sure ada perasaan tu kan lepas tengok gambar ni.

pernah tak korang terfikir kenapa kita addicted nak lepak/makan kat mamak? mesti pernah kan? siap dulu ada propa yang mengatakan Rajoo's kat jalan gasing tu, kuah kari dia dijampi serapah la. diletak spender/seluar dalam la nak buat sedap. macam-macam cerita over the internet, cerita dibawa mulut orang tentang kenapa kita suka sangat makan kat mamak.

ada banyak sebab sebenarnya kenapa kita suka makan kat mamak. aku suka makan kat mamak sebab kuah dhal. aku memang kalau boleh makan kuah dhal tu macam soup 3 kali sehari pun aku tak kisah. aku memang suka. and aku suka makan roti naan atau chapati and also tandoori chicken. ni makanan wajib aku bila masa aku lepak kat mamak. korang suka makan apa kat mamak?

lagi sebab kenapa kita selalu nak lepak kat mamak kan is because dia ada banyak variety. bukan aja indian/mamak food. ada tom yam pun, makanan goreng2, ada ice cream, ada makanan melayu, makanan thai, western pun ada kadang2, memang variety dia endless la.

then the fact that, korang takyah nak dress up untuk pergi mamak. i mean, cuba korang tengok kat tempat parking tu. dari kereta yang tak patut ada atas jalan, ke motor, ke basikal, ke mercedes, ke lexus, semua ada. and bila masuk mamak, tengok macam2 jenis pangkat orang ada. tapi semua makan ngan harmony. takde la kena wait for table ke apa ke. kau nak pakai kain pelikat, kain batik pun boleh. restoran up class leh ke macam ni? mana leh kan....

pastu service takyah nak tunggu berjam2. kat high end restaurant tu, dah la mahal nak mam, pastu nak tunggu satu2 dish tu, boleh kira baik puasa satu hari la. punya la lama. bila tiba makanan tu, seciput je, harap lawa je lebih. sedap pun lebih kurang je kan. kat mamak, tak sampai 7 minit (yes, aku time them), makanan dah sampai. takyah gaduh apa. ada la mahal sikit kan mamak tu, kadang2 sampai tahap tak berpatutan pun harga dia. tapi masih boleh diterima la as compared to segelas kecil teh tarik yang berharga rm7.80++ kat tempat high-end kan. dia guna susu lembu kobe ke, daun teh dari puncak himalaya ke? ntah apa2 ntah.

then, restaurant lain, mana ada yang 24jam. mamak je yang 24jam. kau lapar pukul berapa, terus je kat mamak, sure buka punya. choice of food dia maybe berkurangan dari peak hours but still the variety is vast. bagus ke tak?

tapi yang paling utama sebenarnya is actually apa yang diletak dalam masakan derang yang buat kita bebetul addicted to it actually. ada satu jenis spice yang digunakan dalam masakan derang yang buat kita macam agak sleepy lepas makan, then esok tu atau malam tu, kita nak lagi makan kat mamak. especially kalau yang makan nasi kandar. dalam kes aku, kuah dhal atau tandoori chicken tu tak letak spice ni, so aku suka makan items ni bukan sebab effect spice tu but because i am a habitual eater. i can eat the same things over and over sampai aku bosan. so far, aku blom bosan lagi la huhuh....

aku dah tau apa nama spice tu. aku nak cari. tengok ada jual ke tak and aku nak beli. so pas ni, kalau siapa yang makan masakan aku and addicted to my food, korang tau2 la kenapa kan... huhuhh....

tiap tahun pun sama je. bosan arr... tapi nak pergi juga tengok.



ntah arr. seriously, tiap tahun kan, bazaar2 ramadhan ke, raya ke, jual benda yang sama. takde pun nak up jual benda lain. jual batu nisan ke, jual meja mahjong ke, jual orang ke... jangan marah arr... nanti kena jual :P

tapi tahun ni, yang addition nyer adalah the crocs imis tu. siap ada paul smith imis lagi, don't play2 arr. walaupun la sama je menda yang derang ni jual, tapi mesti nak pergi tengok. ntah la kenapa kan. hehehe it is good though, a great form of exercise, post-buka puasa. ;)

aku cuma beli the perfume oil tu je la. saje nak try. sedap gak bau dia and long lasting. serious!

kelmarin, aku assist CPP interview *SitiNurHaliza. case SNH ni mmg la complicated. nak dapat info dari dia lagi la super complicated. but this is a challenge that we took anyways. a patient is a patient. mana leh nak pilih2 kan?

CCH pun ada juga ngan kami masa tu. dia mula berjinak dengan cara2 untuk interview patients. so, sambil aku sama CPP cakap sama SNH (yang mula menjawap soalan dengan elok kemudian end up menyanyi lagu dalam bahasa2 yang dia create sendiri, atau bahasa2 seperti spanish dan hindustan), CCH menulis apa info yang vital. masa tu, Razif duduk kat belakang CCH. Tiba2 aku tengok, Razif amik rambut CCH and kemudian hidu bau rambut dia.

omg....

aku dah takut dah untuk CCH. aku tgk CCH pun dah macam uncomfy. dia tak berani nak marah, takut2 kalau Razif makin syok pulak bila dia marah.

"doctor, doctor" tegur Razif kepada CCH yang buat bodo je terhadap Razif.
"doctor, rambut doctor wangi la. Doctor pakai syampu apa? saya pun nak cuba"

adoiyayy Razif.... kamu biar benar. kamu tu nak syampu apa? kepala pun dah separa botak ni...

500th entry, woot!


well, as you can see, this is me and my labcoat that i have to don everyday when i am in the hosp. and i am a lazybum as we all are aware of. i don't like to carry many things with me. like some people i see, they carry their books, their notebooks, their stuffs. i feel like it is more of a burden to do so when you are doing bedside. so, i carry most of my things in my pocket. easy, my hands are free to do other things like examine the patient, or do any other procedures. and i don't have to worry about my stuffs obstructing their spaces.

so lookie here: my pocket is bulging and full of things. sometimes, i don't even remember that a particular item is there.


it is mostly full of writing materials. sometimes, they will come up to me, "alia ada pen merah/biru/hitam?" or "alia, you have liquid paper?" or "alia, ada pencil?". i used to do it to others, when i was less equiped. but since i find it a hassle to ask, i carry most of the items that i need in my pocket.

i am the walking stationery shop :P.

the carnival




“We must be there (Felda Bukit Tembaga) at 0700hours”, Thava answered my question when I asked him what was our rendezvous time for Thursday’s activity. Now, be clear that FBT is situated 20km away from our homestay in Taman Sri Emas, Kuala Nerang. This means that we must start our journey at least at 0630hours. Imagine what time we had to get up to get ready as there are only 2 bathrooms in our house that has to be used by 11 people!

Anyway, we did make it on time to FBT. The problem was, they were not! We waited there until about 0900 hours, when only then the cars from PKD Kuala Nerang started to show up. They unloaded their equipments and materials that were to be used for the health carnival in FBT that day.

At about 1000 hours, we started the health carnival with an aerobic exercise session that was headed by the ladies of FBT. Surprisingly, they had more stamina than most of us and the moves that they used during the exercise made me feel that I had two left feet! The ladies of FBT that also joined us for the aerobics session let us steal the show by making us stand in the front row. We had a lot of fun during the session and wished that we had much more of that.

After the session, some of us went back to the homestay to freshen up, while some of us stayed in FBT to be freshened with snacks like currypuffs and local kuehs, and warm tea, served by the people of FBT. We also helped them in unloading the carrier vans and moving the furniture to accommodate the health carnival that were to take place in an hour.

The carnival started off rather slow. But as soon as the day turns to noon, more and more people started flooding in. There were stalls that sells locally produce health remedies, they were booths from PKD Kuala Nerang that concentrates on health promotion and health screening, and they were also other booths from private companies that offers free eye checks and many more. Apart from the health related promotion booths, there were also cooking competitions that were held inside the hall. The ladies of FBT conquered this event, hands down. The fried rice that were creatively prepared looked and smelled very delicious indeed. The mixture of fruit juices were also on display to be judged by anyone who was willing to taste.

In the parking lot, we could see the exhibition mobile of Pokok Sena Prison and also a fire truck from the Kuala Nerang Fire Department. The prison exhibition mobile was there to educate people on how the life of a prisoner would be and the equipments that are used to pass a sentence to the criminal. We saw some used canes and hanging rope. We were also shown the video on how the caning takes place. After seeing the video, we were sure to not do anything that will land us in a prison! The fire department was there mainly to educate youths on the job opportunities that they offer. They do also answer any queries that we had on firefighting techniques.

Towards lunch time, we could see more people coming to the carnival, mainly school-going children. They were excited with the carnival as much as we are, which was a sight to see. They moved from one booth to another to gather knowledge and of course the free posters that were given away. They enjoyed themselves during the Q & A session that was done by the AADK (Agensi Anti Dadah Kerajaan).

After we were served lunch, we spent most of the time idling. This was because there weren’t any villagers that were around at the carnival. We were waiting for our briefing session with the UPK (Unit Promosi Kesihatan) of PKD Kuala Nerang. After much waiting, the HOD of the UPK sector finally arrived. He briefed us on the responsibilities and programs that is under UPK and answered the many questions that we had for him.

All in all, it was a tiring day for us as we did not get enough rest and the sun was unforgivingly hot. But the most important thing was that we enjoyed the carnival and found it very interesting. After the briefing session with the representative from UPK, we were allowed to go back, which by the way, was what we needed most at that point of time, to get some much needed rest.

gila ahh KDU!!

jumaat lepas aku hantar chef-in-training yah ke kolej. masa tu jam 9++ pagi la. aku cukup benci sama security yang jaga college tu. baru aku sampai kat foyer tu, tak sempat nak put my gear to 'neutral', dia dah nak tiup2 wisel, bagai tengah mengadili game bola antara brazil dan itali.

aku rasa macam nak carut je. tapi toksah la kan. tambah dosa aku, tambah pahala dia lak. baik aku diam diam sudah.

tapi pagi tu, mmg la aku terkejut beruk (bukan ala2 macacque monkeys arr). aku park depan foyer tu. tekan click, tanda buka lock pintu. yah dengan chef suit dia, turun dari kereta. sambil tu, ada satu guard dah menuju kearah kereta kami. siap pakai glove la pulak hari tu. aku dah tenung je dia, pehal la kan, adik aku nak turun je.

owh~~ aku sangat mistaken.

guard tu, siap tolong buka kan pintu untuk yah. then bila yah habis angkat barang dia from backseat, siap guard tu ttp kan pintu lagi. alah, macam valet people buatkan kat hotel or private hospital tu la.

uisshh... melampau KDU sekarang. siap ada service macam ni lagi.

"love transcends all differences"

i took that quote right out of Zuba from M:ETA.

i was walking around in MV yesterday with my cousins and sister when i stumbled upon this particular "couple" of guys. they were just walking normally like any other 2 guys would when suddenly, one of them armed the shoulder of the other. i thought maybe it was just a friendly gesture. but when the gesture was too long to be friendly and too delicate to be manly, i knew that it ain't the case of friends. it is the case of love. i managed to silently snap this while i was walking behind them.




usually, we tend to see "couples" that are actually girl and girl. but to see a male couple walking around like this, it seems odd to me, especially here in Malaysia. well, i have seen many of course. definitely not here. and while i was browsing the net, i also came across this little picture. i dare not say that these 2 pretty young lads are a couple or not. but you go ahead and be the judge.

seriously, i have no qualms of homos. i know it is religeously wrong. but who am i to say that these people will burn in hell or what. that is between them and God the Almighty. i couldn't be the judge of that.


to me, life has to be as simple as possible. it is complicated enough that it does not need more hate to turn it into a massive blend of despair. let love thrive in these times of sadness. let love heal. if people are happy and there are in not in my way, let them be. why should i be the bubble popper eh?

i am not for homos, neither am i hating it. it does not involve me and as i said, i am not the judge, God is.

i believe that people can change for the better.

sapu minyak tu

selalunya kan, orang melayu kalau goreng ikan, derang letak kunyit sama garam, then goreng dalam minyak. pastu, takkan la nak buang minyak tu kan? so, derang pun simpan la minyak tu.

pastu kan, biasa tak korang dengar ke, nampak ke, nenek korang gunakan minyak lebihan tu untuk kegunaan lain, selain dari untuk memasak?

nenek REd pernah actually. kami ni kan ke ganazz masa kecik2 dulu, main sana, main sini. balik karang, dah melalak. sebab apa, sebab dah jatuh, luka sana, luka sini. kat kampung kan, mana la ada ubat2 yang canggih manggih ni. so, what nenek will ask us to do is, pergi basuh luka tu. then, dia pergi dapur, dia amik la minyak lebihan goreng ikan tu, dia sapu kat tempat luka tu.

amazingly, the luka baik dengan elok. takde apa infection ke menda ke.

all these while, aku fikir, macam mana benda macam ni boleh jadi? what is the science behind it? then aku found out. the oil actually acts as a barrier, so that no other microorganisms can enter, and mana yang aerobes (majority of which that causes infections), tak boleh nak replicate sebab takde oxygen. then, the kunyit, it is a natural antiseptic. the salt, i would think that the salt will withdraw the moisture from the microorganisms and hence will kill them.

i might be wrong but i see alot of logic in my explaination above. have you ever come across this?
